My name is Camilla and I am the knitwear designer behind the brand
w i e s e k n i t.

I am 36 years old and living in Copenhagen, Denmark.  

I started knitting six years ago, when I was pregnant with my first child. After some years with a lot of knitwear for my children, I began to get  different kinds of ideas for knitting patterns for myself. I felt a strong desire to make these ideas come true.

One thing is having an idea, but would it turn out according to my thoughts? I started knitting and some month later I published my first knitwear design for adults, and more have followed. Those designs that were in my head, had become elegant and functional knitting designs true to the original idea. Patterns that not only I liked, but designs that were also appealing to others.

I love this creative process and it is highly motivating that others like my designs as much as I do.

w i e s e k n i t is classic and elegant designs, which has an almost graphic expression. It is timeless but always bringing some edge to the design. 

 I have designs for beginners and for more advanced knitters. I sincerely hope that when you knit one of my designs, it become your favourite piece for many years. 

Knitting fashion can be slow fashion both in the process of making it and when wearing it.
